The next type of course that you should take is writing and rhetoric courses. These courses will teach you how to write well. Learn how to write clear concise sentences. Learn how to formulate a thesis and follow it up with supporting facts. As a lawyer, you will be writing legal brief and you need to be logical and orderly in your writing. So, make sure you write, write and write some more.
Taking history courses is also recommended. Basie history classes give you not only a foundation in history but also a good understanding of landmark Supreme Court cases.
Finally, last on the list are political science and government courses. You need to understand how the government works. You also need to have a foundation of the current events and political happenings.
